To gather information about how to create my ident and what would make it successful i hosted a focus group to gather information of other popular and new idents.

for each ident i asked these questions;

1. on a scale of 1/10 how much do you like these idents
2. what do you like and dislike about these idents

after the questions were asked for each ident i additionally asked these questions to gather more information about idents in general.

• what is your favorite color
• do you like idents in general or do you find them annoying, either way why?
• what do you expect to see of idents for these types of channels (teen)
• how old are you?
• what is your favorite genre i.e horror, comedy, drama

1. There was lots to look at so you wasn't staring at the same thing with not much going on but  it was a bit slow at the start.
